What is E Kalyan ? (इ कल्याण क्या है?)

E Kalyan is an online scholarship portal who issues notification for the scholarship for Schedule Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Minority and Backward class welfare department, Government of Jharkhand. This portal also manages everything regarding inviting scholarship application and distribution of scholarship. The main objective of E-Kalyan is to achieve transparency and accountability in the scholarship implementation.

Those students who comes under SC, ST and OBC and studying in the post-matriculation level.

Eligibility Criteria for E-Kalyan Scholarship

Application period can be changed in future.

Here are the eligibility criteria of scholarship –

• The Students should be permanent resident of Jharkhand state. 
• Students should belong to Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST), Backward Class.
• Students should be studying in any institute recognized by the Govt of Jharkhand.
• The Family annual income should be less than than 2.5 Lakh (For SC/ST) and 1.5 Lakh (for BC)

At the homepage of official website, go to “Student Registration” section. Then click on “Register/Sign up” button for making registration.

Step 3 – E Kalyan Student Login in to Student Profile 

Once you have register yourself then click on “Login” and log in your dashboard for the next process.

Step 4 – Fill up Scholarship Application Form

After login, students need to click on the “Apply Online” button to fill up application form.

Choose the scholarship which you want to apply for.

Fill up all the required details such as academic details, personal details, account details, communication address and other details in the scholarship form.

Upload all the necessary documents then click on “Submit” button.

Step 5 – Take Multiple Print out of Application Form

Once, you have submitted application form then you are required to take multiple print out of application form.

After filling up the online form, you can track your application form through online mode, You just need to follow some simple steps –

2. Click on “E Kalyan Student Login“
3. After successful login, click on “Application Status” button.
